Trust Accountant - Zurich (38140)

Job Description

Do you have 5 years of accounting experience in the financial/fiduciary industry? How about experience preparing financial statements from bookkeeping records? If you possess these 2 critical skills and experiences, you will be presented with the opportunity to work for a well known and well regarded multi family office. As the chosen candidate, you will work independently with a limited amount of supervision from more senior team members, generally on more routine accounting work. There will be occasional client and third party service provider contact.

Once fully trained, you’ll be able to assume full accounting responsibility on cases with low to medium complexity or, in complex cases, with the support of the more senior team members.

Your principal responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Preparing and finalising financial reports from standard to complex trusts and fiduciary structures
Updating bookkeeping and maintaining timely books of account
Involvement in mandate-specific transactions and communication with bankers, lawyers, accountants, agents and consultants in close coordination with the trust officer.


You will ideally be studying for a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, with a deep understanding of accounting principles and strong analytical skills.
